Why do you want side mirrors on your side-by-side ATV?

Well, why do you want side mirrors on your car or truck?

Because it’s not just about seeing what is in front of you. You need to see what is behind you as well.

Many of the new side-by-side ATVs come with a rear-view mirror. However, most don’t come with side mirrors.

Even though I have a rear-view mirror on my side-by-side, I find myself constantly looking out my side mirrors.

And before I got side mirrors I was constantly looking for them!

I think the main reason is a habit. I don’t know about you, but I use my side mirrors constantly in my truck.

So naturally, when I am out riding I am glancing left and right looking for my side mirrors.

Anyway, when I finally got some new side mirrors it was great. I could see way more of what was behind me.

Side mirrors offer a better view of what is behind me. My rearview mirror is blocked by the roll cage, gear, and passengers.

And if you are looking to build the Ultimate Side-by-Side then you need some side mirrors!

OK, I get it, I want mirrors already!

These things are made of a very tough Billet Aluminum Design.
They have an integrated Light mount that allows you to add a separate light right on the front of the light. They also have a 360-degree rotation so you can angle them just how you want and if they hit something on the trail they will fold back on themselves like the mirror on your car do.

Dislikes

They are pricey, you can definitely find cheaper mirrors out there. However, we feel that you get what you pay for.

Bottom Line

Even though they are on the spendy side we love them. They are made from high-quality materials and the fit and finish are excellent! They pack almost all of the other features into them as the competition, except an integrated light. However, they add the light mount to the font of their super tough case. The billet aluminum case is hard to pass up if you do any kind of trail riding where things can get knocked around.

The CUERO PRO is hard to beat. They are made from tough billet aluminum. Rotate 360 degrees, and have a built-in light mount. You can get them to fit 1.5″, 1.75″, and 1.875″ roll-cage tube diameters. They also have a large convex mirror that lets you see more of what is behind you. Although on the more expensive side, we feel they are a great value.

VERY Affordable.
Full Lifetime warranty. Easy installation.

Dislikes

Plastic shell.
It’s ABS, but it is still plastic.

Bottom Line

Even though the shell is ABS plastic, they have a lifetime warranty and they are very affordable.

The Chupacabra Offroad mirrors are an incredible value. They offer almost all of the great features as the other mirrors but in some cases for half the price. Great viewing angles, 360-degree rotation, and a lifetime warranty. With their universal fit, they also fit almost every round-tubed roll-cage machine out there. They can accommodate tube sizes ranging from 1 5/8″ – 2″ diameter round roll cages.

It has an integrated light. 360-degree rotation.
Aluminum housing.

Dislikes

The light can make the installation a little more complicated. But it has a light!

Bottom Line

It’s a great light at an affordable price. The integrated light makes it an all-around feature-rich mirror.

The Xprite mirrors are packed with features. For the money, they are a very good buy. You get a decent aluminum shell and a large viewing capacity. You also get 360-degree rotation and the added bonus of integrated lights. The only downside is that if you are just looking for a mirror you will need to run some power for the integrated lights. That said, if you were looking to add lights anyway then this is a very affordable option. A decent mirror and a set of front-facing lights will set you back a lot more than these mirrors. They can also accommodate tube sizes ranging from 1.75″ – 2″ diameter round roll cages.

These mirrors are very easy to install. They are packed with features and have a great field of vision. They have a breakaway design and super bright light. As a bonus, they are very reasonably priced with aluminum alloy housing.

Dislikes

Nothing really. It’s made out of quality high-end materials and has a ton of features. The only negative would be that because of the light you need to run power but we think it is such a great mirror for the money it is worth it.

Bottom Line

At this price point for a square tubed mount, you get a ton of features for your money. Aluminum housing, breakaway design, large field of view, easy installation, and super bright side light.

Nibright makes a lot of great lights and mirrors for side-by-side and ATV aftermarket parts and add-on business. These mirrors are high quality and packed with features that you typically only find at higher price points. Aluminum housing stands up to the toughest rides, rubber shock absorbers help with the vibration, wide viewing angle, break away, and on top of all that super bright side lights.

Very easy to install, no fluff, you get exactly what you want, a mirror. Fits square tube rollover protection systems (ROPS) exactly as it should.

Dislikes

Nothing really. It’s made out of ABS, which is OK. But it also does not break the bank like some of the others can.

Bottom Line

It’s an all-around no-frills great mirror. It does exactly what you need it to do, no more, no less. It has a great field of view, and a breakaway feature, and provided it is meant for your machine it is a very easy install.

Kenimoto has a great reputation in the side-by-side and ATV aftermarket parts and add-on business. They make a lot of great aftermarket parts for side-by-side and ATVs. These mirrors do not disappoint. They are reasonably priced in the mid-range but packed with features you typically see on higher-priced mirrors. They don’t have all the bells and whistles of additional lights or light mounts but they also don’t cost as much as the others that do.

It has an integrated light with additional night vision. 360-degree rotation.
Aluminum and steel housing.

Dislikes

The light can make the installation a little more complicated. But it has a light! You may need an extra bracket to mount to a Polaris General – check your fit!

Bottom Line

It’s a great light packed with features. The integrated light and the night vision light make it an all-around feature-rich mirror. With its steel and aluminum casing and shatter-resistant glass, it is going to stand up to whatever riding you are going to throw at it.

The SEIZMIK mirrors are packed with features. They are on the expensive side but when compared to the quality of the build and the features they pack they are a great buy if your budget allows it. The night vision is truly a bonus if you are going to be out trail riding at night or hunting. As an added bonus you can use the traditional light as well if you just need to light up the area to the sides of you. With its steel and aluminum casing and shatter-resistant glass, it is going to stand up to whatever riding you are going to throw at it.
